LOCS?

Updated: Sep 30, 2020

Hola my loves!

So I did a thing... A rather big thing in my eyes for someone like myself. For someone that has built their journey and their brand around their curls. This is by far one of the biggest moves that I have made. If you have followed me from my whole journey you know that I have had red hair, blonde, purple, brown, black... shoot you name it I have had it. I have allowed my hair to grow well past bra strap length and have also cut it to a baby fro. As you can tell I have had a wide range of hair styles.

What can I say your girl likes to play around with different styles. Plus, I believe that I am NOT my hair. I believe that our hair is a outward way that we as Black women like to express ourselves. If we are sad we usually make a change with our hair before we change something else.

Okay, so let me get to the point of this blog post because I just know you are tired of reading and want me to get to the freaking point. All that I am saying is leading up to the reasoning as to why I wanted to start this new journey in my life.

I GOT LOCS!

Well... more like I have started my loc journey. I started my loc journey on Sept 25th. So it has officially been 4 days into my loc journey. I am not much of a "hair typing" type of person, but I have 3C hair if you just wanted to know. My hair is rather fine and I have to manipulate it to get the big curls you see in pictures.

Though this is a new journey for me it is more like a spiritual journey for me. I went through so much in my life in the last 2 years of my life that I knew that I needed a change. A major change. With me getting closer with my spirituality I knew that I needed to change things up. My locs symbolize my journey in life. They are going to be my teacher in life to remind me I need to trust the process.

Now this will not stop me from making videos on my hair and my journey. As well as, incorporating my girls. Both of my daughters have different textures. With that being said you will be seeing me style their hair more as well. You will see how I care for their very different textures.

I want to thank everyone for sticking with me and I can not wait to share with you so much more content and product reviews.
