"A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life" - Coco Chanel
New hair? New me? Is it true what Coco Chanel said when she said that when a woman cuts her hair she is about to change her life?
STARTING OVER
I can be honest that I have not had a good haircut in forever. I think that the last time I truly cut my hair really short I was going through a divorce. As well as, just a tough time in my life. So when I finally straightened my hair after over a year I knew that it needed a cut. My ends were horrible. Plus my curls was not curling like they should.
So I thought... why not cut it and get a cute spring/summer look. Look my son was not too happy about me cutting my hair, but who the heck is he anyway, LOL!
TRAUMA AND CHANGE
I did this mainly because of a major break up. If you have followed me long enough you know that I cut my hair when I am going THROUGH IT! I recently started therapy and getting more focused on myself and maintaining my anxiety. My anxiety can sometimes be on 1000! Whew hunny! I worry about everything and sometimes my anxiety can get so bad I wake up with it and it sometimes keeps me in bed. So I thought going back to therapy to maintain my anxiety was much needed as well as these much needed meds.
SUPPORT
Therapy is not something and my family are afraid to talk about. Shit everyone is getting it it in my family. So it is nice to have a major support system. So when I said I was going to therapy my parents were very happy about it. So the support is there for me whe it comes to controlling my emotions.
Anyway, here I am starting over and in a healthier way of course. So join me in my journey as I go through this healthy journey from the inside out. If you are looking for a therapist or know of someone that needs it I go to Cerebral Therapy to get up to 65% off your first month with Virtual therapy sessions with certified professionals.
Through out this process I am going to be showing you how I am maintaining healthy hair. I am going to be sharing with you all my favorite products. As well as, my protective style options.
Why did you make the decision to cut your hair?
