Shae's CURLY KIDS

Updated: Sep 8, 2020

Hola my friends!

Those of you that have followed me for a while on other platforms know that I have two beautiful daughters.

Both whom have two different textures of hair. So like most parents with daughters with different textures of hair we have to learn what works for them individually.

My oldest daughter has the serious case of shrinkage. You wouldn't believe me if I told you her hair goes all the way to her butt.

BE GONE SHRINKAGE!

Now with her she is highly tender headed and doing her hair can be a struggle sometimes. My trick to doing her hair is keeping it VERY moisturized and in braids or twists. I try my best to prevent as much damage to hair as possible. As you can see from the last two photos of her she has tightly coiled hair.

Products used on her hair:

**I use the LOC Method for her. Which stands for Leave in, Oil and Cream.

Paddle Brush (You can get this from anywhere. I usually get mine from CVS.)

Now for the youngest princess I keep it very VERY simple. Just water and Shea Butter. Nothing else is needed when it comes to taking care of her hair. Plus, I am not a big fan of putting so much product in a babies hair if it is not needed. When it comes to shea butter I use any of my favorite shea butter mixtures and just apply it.

Since we are in the house due to COVID her having her hair done is not a must. My oldest I make sure to keep her hair done to minimize the amount of pain and discomfort she may have.

I hope all parents that are doing their little ones hair finds this helpful. With me being a mom I wanted to share with you products that work for me and mu daughters.
